Second year in a row i don't feel Sundance vibe in Sundance winner. It's not dramatic enough or life-changing or socially important. My guess that Boy Erased on same theme will be more powerful. Expectations from January was to high and it didn't worked out. But still It had some great performances from Chloë Grace Moretz (guess it's her best to date) and John Gallagher Jr.
Interesting experiment in the end for russian industry. Nice third chapter which is on the level with first one. But I'd really prefer that they did it Scandinavian way with premiere in cinema, then simultaneously release second part and third part on TV. Or premiere it on tv and then release ending in Cinema.
HOLY FUCKIN SHIT THIS IS AWESOME.
After spending an evening with emotions, i can tell that this one of the greatest movies Brits ever produced, this is the second movie with James McAvoy that i've seen this week (first was Welcome To The Punch) and this is even better.
First of all thanks to genuinely polished script. Even if you think you understand it - you're not. Great performance by Vincent Cassel. Nice soundtrack by Underworld alumni.
In the end…
