GUIBOB’s review published on Letterboxd:
Woody Norman Gave the best child performance of the year, period. It's rare that I am blown away by a kid in a movie. Him and Joaquin Phoenix had great chemistry that made me care about them. It was realistic and the black and white aspect added to the rawness of this film. Didn't felt too long, it was greatly paced. The soundtrack felt appropriate, and I really loved the interviews and the different points of view of the children. I wasn't expecting to like this movie, it caught me off-guard.
