  WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY RICHIE KIRSCH. I am the pasty nerd checking in from my Letterboxd account, sorry Mindy my love. No such thing as a bad SCREAM movie (for me), darlings.

  This perhaps had the cold opening that captured me the most since the original. As always, the self awareness is impeccable. A complete refresh, a rewrite of the rules. I am really intrigued to see where this franchise will go from here -- I can only imagine that they will go for more.

  Dazed and Confused 1993

  The reputation of this precedes it, but dang, I had such a great time watching it. Nostalgic for a period that isn't my own, and probably didn't even exist in this way for those who lived through this. Left me with the same sense of longing for imagined past as things like Stranger Things or That 70s Show, which, speaking of, I desperately feel like re-watching now.
