An easy contender for Hitchcock’s most thrilling production but there is something too slight about Cary Grant’s presence and performance to give the movie any kind of real gravitas. A fun watch, nonetheless.
Finally got around to watching the 4K blu-ray and boy is it an amazing transfer. Don’t think it is THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE, but it’s certainly no slouchy effort either. Don’t even think it’s Hitchcock’s best movie, but there is something hypnotic and entrancing to its elegiac pacing.
