How the hell do you come up with something like this? Lost track with how many times I’ve watched this but it never gets old.

    - 📀 If you don’t get this in its 4K glory, you’re crazy.

  • Aquaman

    ★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Top 5 DCEU film for sure!

    Pros:

    • Patrick Wilson and Jason Momoa weren’t that bad compared to the rest.

    • The long shot fight scenes were pretty cool, though it got old after the second time.

    • The CGI was only noticeably bad in the beginning.

    • The trench scene that was spoiled in the trailer was pretty awesome.

    • The score was good. (But literally, what was the point of Pitbulls song?)

    Cons:

    • Every other actor just…

So I never go into a film expecting to praise or criticise it right off the bat, but damn was this one nearly impossible for that.

First off, the only knowledge of Transformers I have is ‘Dark of the Moon,’ with some other little details also, but there are so many things that just didn’t make sense, or were just unnecessary that I will list below.
Sure this is aimed mostly towards younger audiences, but I don’t think even I…

  • La La Land

    La La Land

    ★★★★★

    Definition of “masterpiece”?:

Damien Chazelles’ ‘Epilouge’ scene accompanied by Justin Hurwitzs’ ‘Epilouge’ score.

    - 📀 Worth buying on 4K.

  • Vice

    Vice

    ★★★★½

As someone who can understand both sides of US politics, but still hates the topic of it, I was able to separate my dislike for politics from this film and found myself fully engaged for the entire 2hr+ runtime.
First off, the acting is amazing. I didn’t see Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Steve Carrell, Sam Rockwell, etc; I saw their characters brilliantly portrayed on screen. (Although I have to say there is no better person to portray Bush than Rockwell.)…

  • How the Grinch Stole Christmas

    How the Grinch Stole Christmas

    ★★★

    - 📮 Worth renting every year for Christmas.

  • The Nightmare Before Christmas

    The Nightmare Before Christmas

    ★★★★

    Too short. 💀

    - 💿 Worth buying on Blu-ray.

  • Into the Dark: Pooka!

    Into the Dark: Pooka!

    - 🛑 Don’t bother watching.

  • The Polar Express

    The Polar Express

    ★★★½

Sure this is made for children, but adults are bound to be present, and the children who watched it are eventually going to grow up and rewatch it. Just wanna say there are some dumb decisions made by the characters and some things that don’t make sense.
But this does have some good messages for children and adults if they haven’t learned by then. Also some really nice music.
Overall, this should still be in everyone’s annual watchlist when Christmas comes around.

     - 💿 Worth buying on Blu-ray.

  • The Favourite

    The Favourite

First things first, I hate films set in this time period, it just seems boring and uneventful, however the actors in here made up for that.

Second, I don’t think I can rate this because I don’t think I fully understood this.
One thing I did understand though, was that the comedy in this film was just not for me. I smirked like once or twice compared to the rest of the theatre laughing at almost everything.

I need an explanation video and a rewatch then I’ll know my final thoughts on this.

  • Walk the Line

    Walk the Line

    ★★★

Worth watching for Phoenix’s performance alone.

  • Venom

    Venom

    ★★★½

The Tom Hardy and Venom bromance film I anticipated for a long time and satisfied with.
That being said, I completely understand all the bad reviews after giving it a rewatch. This is definitely cheesy and somewhat lackluster compared to the other comic book films being released at the current time.
But this is still a good time and cannot wait for the sequel.

    We are Venom.
