AGHHHHHH I LOVE IT!!!!
Pure cinematic joy. Despite flaws here and there, I can’t remember the last time a movie has given me this much happiness on this specific level, especially based on it’s pure existence. Seeing a movie with gay sex and themes of homosexuality and coming out in the mainstream played on endless screens made me wanna tear up in the theater as a closeted Pansexual demanding more representation during a movie that already made me wanna tear up with it’s amazing portrayal movie of Elton’s life, how a movie can break the infamous biopic mold in this perfect of a way, and it’s amazing musical numbers and execution of it’s story.
What better time to see it again than the first day of Pride Month (it’s midnight by the time I’m home)! This and Booksmart coming out this close to Pride Month is perfect timing! Be proud of who you are, you are loved! ❤️❤️❤️🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
