    ★★★★★

Everything Everywhere All At Once is everything I hoped it would be and more which is astonishing because I actually had really high expectations going into it.

It arrives at a perfect moment in my life. I laughed, I cried, I loved it from start to finish.

Directed by Wim Wenders and released in 1987, Wings of Desire is a unique New German Cinema film that breaks new ground with its formal techniques and the ideas it plays around with. Dune doesn’t earn itself enough of its own visual identity in my opinion despite the fact that it’s massive scale and beautiful landscapes are gorgeous.

The story also fails to deliver a cohesive through line and is a little bit all over the place with its themes. Maybe because I haven’t seen the second part yet.

Still a great film from Villeneuve, it’s just a little too bland in my opinion and doesn’t really hold a candle to the iconic identity of ARRIVAL or BR2049.

I still had so much fun seeing this in IMAX though!

Love, love, love how much this loses itself!

Reminds me of Titane too, which is definitely a good thing.
