I don't really know how to give this movie a fair rating, because if it wasn't so weirdly meaningful to me, I'd probably rate it lower, but when I first saw it years ago, it opened my horror tastes up so much and I feel like it tremendously influenced a lot of what I love in horror media today.

I guess what I'm saying is that it might not be the "best" horror film I like, but it's definitely one of the most important.
