Liam’s review published on Letterboxd:
One of the funniest thrillers ever made. When it is serious it is good, and when it has a lightheart, it is even better. Hitchcock could make any number of different types of movies, but something about this is just perfect. Every single scene and set piece, from the Train to the Plane to the Mount (Rushmore), everything fits together, even if it isn't his greatest success. Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint are all perfect in so many ways, both in terms of chemistry and how well the characters were written for each actors' talents. Hitch doesn't get enough love nowadays I feel, and most of his movies are underappreciated by younger audiences, but this would have been an unqualified hit even if it came out today, at least I hope. A great movie, flaws and all.
