I've been pretty consistently alternating between actually doing Hooptober, and doing my bastardized I Can't Believe It's Not Hooptober instead, but we're doing back to back years bb! Usually it's a conflict between the rules and what I want to watch/what's available, but this year's rules seem generously flexible, so it shouldn't conflict with the dumb shit I want to watch. Please see below for dumb shit I want to watch. A lot of it will be rewatches, both for myself, and for my cowatcher who is along for most of this, because that sounds fun.

Final Comments: All good things must come to an end. I did get a little burned out in the last few days, but I stuffed quite a few extras/new releases in so maybe that figures. Wound up skipping out on a couple of the films originally listed, but I feel like it was a successful run anyway. It was nice to revisit some classics, and see some great first time watches. Next year I might go back to a less structured approach though.
