Kenny’s review published on Letterboxd:
While I was watching this, I couldn't help but imagine how I would react if I was in this situation. Would I make out with a guy who stuck his face under my skirt without my permission? Would I help the people who laughed at me when I told them I tried to kill myself? Would I want to be friends with someone who beat up another kid and blamed his actions on his dad? No. These are horrible people, and it was torture watching them bully each other for 100 minutes. By the end, we're supposed to believe they've changed, but there's no evidence of that; they just randomly decide to be nice to each other seconds after they say cruel shit to one another. Having a voice-over directly explain the point of your movie does not mean you've actually made that point. Sorry.
Also, this post is one of the funniest takes I've seen on the problematic aspects of this movie.
