    i decided to end my day with another piece by kogonada, and i am so glad i did. in kogonada’s follow up from his stunning columbus, he breaks the picture of what a traditional nuclear household looks like. he shows that family isn’t just created through blood but through forming bonds too. seeing the love shared between yang and mika was truly magical, that feeling of reassurance and acceptance, despite not being the ‘typical’ family.
