So everyone talks about crying during this movie and of course I had a good old sob.
Obviously it was when 'The The' starts playing This is the Day. It was a song I used to listen to a lot when my days felt uncertain, it resonates with me on a primal level.
Sometimes a Marvel movie can be so personal.
This felt different from the rest of the studio's output recently, it stands apart from everything else and tells…

Just imagine being a stunt actor in these movies though.
Getting punched in the face by Keanu.
    Getting shot at by Keanu.
Those close quarters moves where he wraps his thighs around you.
Not to mention all the toys he gets to play with in this movie.
Then when they yell 'Cut!' you just know Keanu would come up to you, help you up and say 'Good job buddy!'
Wouldn't that be the best day ever!?

Oh, also, these movies are so pretty I could cry.

First, we're going to seal up this pool

In the early 2000s, this was the only DVD I can recall watching. I watched it so many times but for the life of me I couldn't remember that Stellan Skarsgård was in this!

On rewatch, I appreciated the practical sets and the outrageously attractive cast. Still works as a fun shark infested distraction.

The agency that gets this account is the agency that can show Mr. Miller the most attractive can
Smash cut to a line of bunny chorus girls sticking their bums out.

Also, watch Doris's hats as they get increasingly more ridiculous.

    This is peak cinema.

It's just so cheeky and silly. I laughed out loud more times than I care to admit. It's a frothy confection of innuendo and 60s naughtiness mixed with traditional values while never once showing anything remotely risqué. Also the ending is so crazy. It's a mess but I loved it.

This movie had Mads Mikkelsen wandering around in the most pimping fur coat and yet somehow I was bored.
