Don't try to understand it, feel it
Someone says this in the first twenty minutes of the movie and it's a pretty decent heads up because... What is there to understand? We're just moving through loosely linked set pieces with doses of exposition.
Oh! And if you're a woman in a Nolan film and the protagonist has any sense of affection for you, just back the hell away because there is nothing here for you, don't just be his emotional investment! Just run away!
I kept pausing this and taking breaks to watch the snow falling out the window and managed to get through 3 cups of tea. I feel very tired...
