Hampus Wersén’s review published on Letterboxd:
My 6th grade music teacher recommended this to me when It came out since he knew I loved horror. And for some reason, I never watched it until now. I really enjoyed it!
This entire film feels like an homage to 1980s horror, especially the score! The score feels very 80s, it’s awesome! I also loved the cinematography! This movie is more smart rather than scary I think. It follows is an ambiguous horror movie which I really like. It doesn’t treat us as stupid, we get to decide a few things on our own. The movie isn’t subtle though, this “monster” is obviously a metaphor for the dangers of unprotected sex. But I still thought it was handled pretty well!
I don’t have much else to say about it. Just give it a go if it sounds like something you’d enjoy!
