It’s good, light, and amusing; but I guess what I really want is a multi-part series that’s more in-depth. That’d be more my speed, where as this is more for someone who hasn’t heard these terms before or found themselves lost in the TV Tropes vortex time and time again.

Fantastic Fungi 2019
This veered from the path of science and nature to the path of mysticism and spirituality quite quickly. I actually had an inkling that I should turn this off after the opening statement about consulting my doctor, and then again from the first-person narration about fugus being life, but I wanted to see some cool time-lapse mushrooms and perhaps learn some mushroom facts. Instead I got a feature length sales pitch for mushroom supplements.
Just the science please, thank you. Do the work, publish your papers, and we'll see you when you're done.
