"Once you enter the world of the sea, it is a sight to behold. Gorgeous bright colours and intense synth sounds from a great score and you’re immediately transported to the world of Atlantis. However, the intensity of the visuals can eventually become overwhelming. There is so much fun and wild energy which definitely entertains, but after a while it becomes a brightly coloured mess."
"Where there is simple direction from Wash Westmoreland and somewhat lacklustre scenes; Keira Knightley strongly makes up for it, giving one of her best performances in years. She is clearly the best thing about the film - breathing life into her character to create a woman full of charm, warmth, intellect and creativity."

Can God forgive us for what we've done to this world?
oh my.... I really did not expect all of that. So brutal in its truth. Just as it is said in the film, it is a mix of hope and despair. This is done so expertly with an amazing performance by Ethan Hawke. Definitely need to digest more.
