Ultimate 1960s French vibe film. Haven't seen some kino in a while, so this was my breath of fresh air experience. Saw it in a theater 2k restoration version. I enjoyed this as a time capsule film and I'm excited to explore the rest of Varda's filmography. Very exotic, poetic and beautiful.

very predictable ending, weird dialogue, too many scenes where they recite quotes from people, the same score was used multiple times. I guess the acting is good.

As soon as the clock turned 4 AM in the film at the climactic sequence, it was 4 AM for me irl, so I was extremely immersed at that point.

Anyways, I loved every second of this masterpiece. It was very tight, suspenseful and very minimalistic (in the best way possible). Although the title already spoils the film, I found myself to be on the edge of my seat, fearing for that man's life. The sound was used really well in this.

A visual and audio marvel, which unfortunately is overshadowed by the convoluted plot and uninteresting characters.

Man, such an energy fueled film, packed with incredible writing and the phenomenal performance from Eric Bogosian. I highly recommend it, it never bored me once. I think its very obvious where the Safdies got their influence from.

I remember watching this at my cousin's place, when they lived in a very tight apartment with a Dalmatian dog. I was like 6 years old and I vomited, so I was like taken to bed.
