Tintorera: Killer Shark

Tintorera: Killer Shark

Watched the German DVD copy which has the option to chose the original dubbing of the film in Spanish/English. I found it a bit difficult to watch as it is mostly in Spanish and I am far from fluent.

There is also a surprising lack of 'shark' in this movie. Its more like a Cancún Soap-Opera, but that ain't a bad thing. Most of the characters are pretty interesting, like the two Mexican orange farmers that pick-up the young American ladies hitchhiking to Cancún. I enjoyed their shenanigans on screen.

Unfortunately, I feel asleep in the middle of this film, but while I was napping I had an insane dream that I was in the movie, thanks to Basil Poledouris' sinister score. That dream was amazing and saved the movie for me.

If you're a shark movie completist, give this one a watch.
