did i make a conscious decision to not watch a trailer/read any kind of summary? yes.
did i glance at the poster and think the pieces of paper flying around were playing cards? yes.
did i go into this expecting the story of a magician?? yes.
am i embarrassed by that? absolutely. and that’s on me.yeah uhhhh i actively despise “classic” books, so this was definitely.....not for me. episodic novels and films irritate me, so i did not have a good time watching this lol i liked the costuming and cinematography though
