needed more maya hawke, less lena dunham
that being said, i feel like Quentin really needs to work on the brevity of his films. They have so much potential but always seem to run on the longer side which runs into the issue of too much being added to the story that isn't necessary. there was so much that needed to be refined or cut out that in some scenes I felt uninterested and nearly fell asleep. I really really wanted to love this movie and I can gladly say that the 3rd act was what saved it for me. I was really hoping that the whole film was going to be how the last 30 minutes ran bc wow that was wild, but I guess better luck next time. Overall, not the best brad pitt/leonardo di caprio movie but it sure gave it it's best shot !
