• Creep

I think this was about the fifth time that I saw this and I am still amazed and greatly entertained by it. I don’t think that I’ll forget the first time that I saw this movie for a very long time. Because the thing that they dis very well was the how excitement was built up and how you were at the edge of your seat the whole movie. It’s such an unpredictable piece of art and stuff happens all…

  • The Exorcist

    The Exorcist

I saw this last night for the first time ever and I was a bit disappointed. I had gotten the image that this movie was super scary. I really didn’t find it as good as people say it is. Of course it was a bit uncomfortable at some parts and it’s fascinating how well made this movie really is. The thing that probably made me think worse if this, was how the story was told. I really didn’t get that…

  • Mississippi Burning

    Mississippi Burning

We saw this movie in school. Obviously the message is super powerful. Especially in these times. I think that this movie in general showed very well how things were in the 60s. Sadly enough some black people are still treated like this.
The thing that made me not rating it higher was that a lot of stuff really didn’t make sense. Some scenes were not even needed in my opinion either. It was a bit too long also.

  • The Trial of the Chicago 7

The Trial of the Chicago 7

I haven’t made a review in a while now, so I thought it would be fitting to start writing reviews more. I watched The Trial Of Chicago 7 last weekend and it’s easily one of the best movies released this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw this going to the Oscar’s.

Something that I was really happy to see in this, was that Sacha Baron Cohen finally had a serious role, and I have to say that he…

  • Eighth Grade

    Eighth Grade

This is another movie that I saw with my friends and we didn’t watch it in one sitting. Eighth Grade is a film that I had been looking forward to see for a very long time. The biggest reason being that Bo Burnham directed and wrote it, who also is my favourite comedian. I think that you at some parts could see that Bo wrote it. Other reasons was also that it’s an A24 production plus it’s gotten great response.…

  • Psycho

I watched this together with some of my friends and all of them saw it for the first time. It was a lot of talking but that’s to be expected when you’re seeing a film with friends. I tried to focus on the movie as best as I could since it’s one of my favourite movies ever. The experience in general was great I guess but it could’ve been a lot better.

When the movie was leaning more towards the…

  • Life of Brian

    Life of Brian

The Monthy Python guys are pure geniuses. Holy Grail and Life of Brian are two of the most eternal movies for me. The humour that contains them is what effects me the most. It’s my type of humour.

In the beginning of the year, Terry Jones passed away, and I was very sad to hear that. It was the beginning of the horrible things that was about to happen in 2020. These movies makes his memory live on and he will never be forgotten!

  • Candyman

This was in a way disappointing, I can’t say that I had very high expectations it’s just that I’ve heard many good things about it. I wasn’t particularly bored or anything like that it’s more that I don’t feel like that much got brought to the table. This was probably something fascinating around the time that this was released and something that you’d never seen before. With this being my first time watching it I don’t feel like it’s something…

  • The Irishman

    The Irishman

Finally!!! I’ve been planning to watch this again for so long, it’s first up until about two weeks ago that I really wanted to see this. The first time that I watched The Irishman, I watched it on two different occasions with around one week space between both viewings. This obviously led to me having very mixed opinions and feelings about this movie. Now that I actually saw it in one sitting I am completely amazed by it!

    There’s just…

  • A Clockwork Orange

    A Clockwork Orange

    A Clockwork Orange

What’s it going to be then, eh?
The people that know me knows that A Clockwork Orange is my favourite movie of all time. Yesterday I had the pleasure of watching this in cinema and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had when it comes to watching movies in cinemas. It’s honestly hard for me to find words to describe how much I love this masterpiece. The whole movie is such a ride of so…

  • Taxi Driver

    Taxi Driver

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Okay.. So last time I watched Taxi Driver, I was a bit disappointed. I guess it was because it’s a really progressive movie. Not much is happening and you really have to be invested on to the screen. I guess I wasn’t that much, and i also don’t think that the plot interested me as much as I’d hoped for. I still thought that it was a good movie mostly because of De Niro’s acting but also stuff like the…

  • Mean Streets

    Mean Streets

I’ve been looking forward to see this for a very long time. The thing that made me wait so long was that I couldn’t find it anywhere, and I finally did! Mean Streets was a movie that kept me entertained during the whole thing. Robert De Niro stole the show like he usually does. This might be my second to favourite role of his with Raging Bull being number 1.

This is probably one of my favourite movies by Scorsese.…
