The key ingredient for this dopey concept of a franchise has always been James Cameron, ONE OF THE BEST ACTION DIRECTORS OF ALL TIME. Here is a list of all the directors since T2: Jonathan Mostow, McG, Alan Taylor and, now, Tim Miller (Deadpool proved he cannot direct coherent action). Of course this franchise has gone to the dumps. You can't replace Kevin Durant with Glen Robinson III, Jordan Poole, Omari Spellman and Alec Burkes.
