I think I need a different view on Fred Krueger. He is no longer what nightmares are made of, but simply just a really pissed off ghost.
Hopefully that will settle in my mind okay, and I might be able to enjoy the rest of the series.

How can he manipulate things outside of dreams? I just don't get it... no... never mind... ghost, not badass nightmare lord of doom. Ghost, spirit, spectre, Casper.

Maybe I'm overthinking it?
But one thing I'm definitely not overthinking is Heather Langenkamp - fucking terrible actress!!! I really wish they would stop brining her into it. She can't act surprised or scared for shit, and her voice kills bunnies and kittens on a regular basis.
