    Bird Box

    ★★★

At least that one got pregnant BEFORE the Apocalypse.

BUT this movie did Sarah Paulson dirty.

HOWEVER thanks to the Bird Box challenge some idiots will die and there will be less morons in this world.

Also this one has Tom Hollander and I love this guy.

But Quiet Place was realy emotional so all in all they are both on the same level.

Netflix is removing this tomorrow and I've never seen it in its entirety before so I had to stop rewatching Jon Hamm banging countless women in Mad Men and watch Tom Hanks try to rescue the human disaster Matt Damon instead.

Congrats to Vin Diesel on being in an actual great movie (where he isn't voicing a CGI tree).

Another example of Michael Shannon's talents and David Wingo's music making something watchable.

What do you get when you mix the collective jinx of AnnaPOORna and Jake "fuck that, I am gonna do CBMs now because I ain't getting awards and I ain't getting money" Gyllenhaal? a MEGA box office flop.

This is not horrible (just very very mediocre) and Phoenix and Reilly make for a charming duo but making this for 38 million and making Vice for 60 million (what the hell cost this much? Cookies for Christian Bale??) is funnier and more fascinating than anything that happens in this movie. Combined.

Very charming movie with strong performances (especially Sissy Spacek) and excellent score.

94% on RT for a movie where a female character is a plot device and there's 60 minutes of plot in this 150 minute long mess. Critics were a mistake.

Half of the women in the audience, me included, took off their sweaters after 20 minutes of this movie.

I may die when I see it again on Friday.
