probably my favorite movie this year?? so many films try to do the protest thing and this is the only attempt that doesn't feel hamfisted. i see so many influences... nicolas winding refn, jean-michel basquiat, key & peele, the framing and ambience of that golden elevator feels pulled from ERASERHEAD... so surreal, hilarious, and razor-sharp i want to it catch in the theater again.
