the best i’ve seen from belson, and something of a platonic ideal film for me. the usual questions about process take a backseat to getting lost in each achingly beautiful movement

someone should put this on a triple bill with an emmanuel mouret and “strangers in good company” where each member of the audience gets a pillow and a down comforter to wrap themselves in
