I love all things Martin Scorsese and this was no exception.
The Goodfellas-style narration and biographical story line throughout stages of Leo's life (I find it hard to separate Leo from all of these rich, white, crazy male characters he is consistently playing) appeal to me on a level of film-geekery that I can't explain in words.
The exaggerated indulgence, debauchery and foul language all contributed to my enjoyment of this film.
