Hayden Welch’s review published on Letterboxd:
A wonderful ode full of color, beauty, and tragedy. Almodóvar treads some very interesting and topical subjects and handles them with the utmost respect and tenderness. It’s a film that not only jumps around in narratives but deep emotions and character’s dynamics with each other, though every plot switch feels like a new translation in a life rather than a distracting detour. Essential viewing.
