Hayden Welch’s review published on Letterboxd:
“I just don’t want to put any more stress on my family.”
The Good: fantastic performances all around; Toni Collette especially, masterful direction, very suspenseful when it needs to be, very interesting and intelligent story, score
The Bad: bad pacing, I was never scared throughout the duration of the film, quite a few inconsistencies & contradictions within the plot, runtime could have easily been cut, some really bad ADR issues in one scene
The fourth A24 movie to get a wide release after The Witch, Free Fire, and It Comes at Night.
