Letterboxd — Your life in film

Great feckin’ movie. Nuff said.

I give it one star for the beautiful landscapes and one star for that monkey man (he had an infectious laugh), but other than that the movie had me massively confused and a little bored (I say a little because it kept you thinking with all the confusion). Really could have done without the animal torture.

Really makes me wanna watch Shrek 2

Forgot Joaquin was in this, the man has incredible range.

The rotating fight scene is a incredible, a dream come true (pun intended).

An all-time classic, very fetch.

Watching this while hungry was literal torture.

An odd movie. Really hard to place with brutal premise and imagery, over the top acting, dark themes as well as silly stuff. Anime works as anime, not live-action, but that’s just my opinion. It’s very entertaining though, borders on “so bad it’s good” but not quite, because it’s still kinda good.

Honestly exceeded my expectations. Side-note; love when they have actual Swedes speaking Swedish.
