  • Scoob!

Scoob was one of my most anticipated movies of the year. I have grown up loving Scooby-Doo and the gang and when I heard we were getting a CGI animated movie I thought it might be fun like The Peanuts Movie. However it did the complete opposite. This movie follows Shaggy and Scooby-Doo as they team up with Blue Falcon to try to escape from Dick Dastardly who wants Scooby-Doo. Meanwhile Fred, Daphne, and Velma are trying to find Shaggy…

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

Bird of Prey is a fun movie. The cast are all great in here especially Ewan McGregor who is perfect as Black Mask. Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jurnee Smolett-Bell are badass and welcome additions to the dceu. Margot Robbie is also great as Harley Quinn much better than she was in Suicide Squad. The action is really good and the story is fun. It could've been a little bit better but overall it's still a enjoyable flick and better than I expected it to be. 8/10

    Dark Phoenix

The 12th and final film in Fox's X-Men franchise is here. This movie retells the story of the Dark Phoenix Saga which was sort of adapted in 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand. This adaptation is much better and the cast is pretty good in this one. Especially Sophie Turner who plays Jean Grey she does a great job. This is far from the best film in the X-Men franchise but it's worth checking out if you are a fan of the previous movies. 7/10

    Child's Play

I went into this movie with low expectations I'm not a huge fan of the Child's Play franchise anyway but I really didn't want to see it be rebooted but this remake is very entertaining and one of the biggest surprises of the year. The cast especially the kid who plays Andy are really good and Mark Hamill makes Chucky terrifying. I think if you're a fan of horror you'll love this movie as far as being a fan of…
