• Mulan

    Mulan

    ★½

In the 2020 remake of the 1998 animated classic Mulan the title character joins the army to fight in the war in place of her father to bring honor to her name and her family. This is another soulless live action remake from disney. They tried hard to make this one different than the original and it could've been alot better than it was. Lieu Yeifi was decent as Mulan and the supporting cast were all pretty good especially Donnie…

  • Bill & Ted Face the Music

Bill & Ted Face the Music

    ★★★★½

Growing up I watched the first two Bill and Ted movies quite a bit and I never expected we would ever get a 3rd movie but after years of waiting the trilogy is complete and it was completely worth the wait. Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter still work amazingly well together and the supporting cast are great with some new faces and welcomed returns of familiar ones particularly William Sadler as Death who once again steals the show. I was…

  • The New Mutants

    The New Mutants

    ★★★★

With all the behind the scenes problems and stuff I expected going in that The New Mutants would be a horrible movie and a terrible ending to the Fox X-Men film series but I was really impressed with it. The movie is played like a horror movie very well and they do a really good job with it. The cast is great especially Maisie Williams she's really good. The atmosphere is done very well and the score helps to make…

  • Scoob!

    Scoob!

Scoob was one of my most anticipated movies of the year. I have grown up loving Scooby-Doo and the gang and when I heard we were getting a CGI animated movie I thought it might be fun like The Peanuts Movie. However it did the complete opposite. This movie follows Shaggy and Scooby-Doo as they team up with Blue Falcon to try to escape from Dick Dastardly who wants Scooby-Doo. Meanwhile Fred, Daphne, and Velma are trying to find Shaggy…

  • Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

    ★★★½

Bird of Prey is a fun movie. The cast are all great in here especially Ewan McGregor who is perfect as Black Mask. Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jurnee Smolett-Bell are badass and welcome additions to the dceu. Margot Robbie is also great as Harley Quinn much better than she was in Suicide Squad. The action is really good and the story is fun. It could've been a little bit better but overall it's still a enjoyable flick and better than I expected it to be. 8/10

  • Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

    ★★½

The finale of the Star Wars Skywalker saga is here. This movie is convoluted and made soley for fan service after the backlash from The Last Jedi they wanted to make sure they played it safe to try and please the fans. The only great things about this are the cast everyone brings their A game, the cinematography and special effects are great and of course John Williams score is awesome too. In the end I feel this is a…

  • Black Christmas

    Black Christmas

    ½

The new version of Black Christmas from Blumhouse is easily one of the worst movies of the last decade. I didn't mind that they tried something different as far as the story went but the characters are poorly written, the kills are terrible due to the PG13 rating, and the twist is ruined in the trailers. This is definitely one that I'd recommend skipping. 0/10

  • A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

    ★★★★★

A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood is finally about to be released I got to see it at a special event showing tonight I had to drive 2 hours to get there and it was worth every minute. The movie follows a man from Esquire magazine who has to interview Fred Rogers in the late 90s after meeting Mister Rogers he has a whole new outlook on life. This is an amazing story about one of the most amazing and…

  • Terminator: Dark Fate

    Terminator: Dark Fate

    ★★★★

This is the Terminator movie I've been waiting my whole life for. It's a worthy sequel to T2 and has alot of great action. The cast are all awesome and great especially Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor. She's even more of a badass than ever before. Arnold is also excellent as expected. The new characters are lovable and I love that it gives us characters to attach to emotionally. I was skeptical going in but this is an amazing movie and the biggest surprise of the year. 9/10

  • Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

    Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Maleficent throws a hissy fit because she's jealous of Aurora marrying Prince Phillip. The rest of the movie for the most part is a rehash of the first movie and the title Mistress of Evil is so misleading. She isn't evil just like in the first movie she's a good character. I'd recommend skipping it until you can stream or rent it because it's the same thing as the first movie with no stakes and is very predictable. The visuals are amazing it does atleast have that going for it. 1/10

  • Jay and Silent Bob Reboot

    Jay and Silent Bob Reboot

    ★★★★★

Picking up 13 years after Clerks II, Jay and Silent Bob are now about to lose their names due to trademark when the rights to Bluntman and Chronic are sold to Saban films. They soon begin a journey to Hollywood to stop the reboot from happening and win back their names. This is a hilarious meta as hell movie if you're a Kevin Smith fan you're going to love this the jokes are hilarious and non stop. There's so many…
