    β€œThe Earth speaks to all of us, and if we listen, we can understand.”

    Never ceases to amaze me how Miyazaki is able to make such a complete, fully fledged adventure contained in one film. Most directors need at least a trilogy for that. The layers, the complexity... Perfection.

    Also, no one talks about how Pazu is maybe the best male Studio Ghibli character and how him and Sheeta are the best pairing.

    ALSO, that lightning scene... Wow, one of the most beautiful scenes from an anime that I've ever seen.

    It is obviously well crafted because it is David Fincher, but the whole story lacked complexity and depth.

    Michael Fassbender did a one note performance of Patrick Bateman from American Psycho. I would have really liked some layers to the performance. Tilda Swinton's performance was my fave.

    Also, for me... personally, only watching him kill poc and women... not what I want to watch.

    But having The Smiths basically be the soundtrack to the film, I love.
