Joey Henderson’s review published on Letterboxd:
Opinions are opinions but I really like Batman v Superman screw it I don't care. The film is visually breathtaking. Ben Affleck is hands down the best live action Batman yet and Jeremy Irons as Alfred is especially great. The political and theological themes concerning Superman are very powerful and everyone from Man of Steel once again does a great job. The title fight is great and ripped right outta The Dark Knight Returns. There's a ton of cool stuff especially if you're a DC fan. Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman is amazing. Jesse Eisenberg is a different type of Lex Luthor but definitely not bad. The musical score by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL is phenomenal as always. And the ending is also very ballsy and emotional. As far as complaints I will say the film is a bit scattered jumping from scene to scene and the dream sequences while good felt oddly placed but I'm hoping the 3 hour cut will make it feel a bit more cohesive. I still really like the film nonetheless and I can't wait for Justice League.
