Started out as what seemed like a genre venture but turned into a wild meditation on racism in corporate america and the responsibility of people of color inside a capitalist system. It's intriguing and quite upfront in its themes. Feels sorta like an uninspired iteration of the Spike Lee story, but regardless it raises important questions that are still being asked and left unanswered today

    Never Say Die

One of those love triangle plots in which one of the guys is implied to develop a gay crush on the other guy as the competition develops

This is my first Bob Hope movie, the guy is quite funny indeed. That duel scene was the highlight of the movie. Other than that it's quite the generic marriage comedy flick

When Pattinson showed up for the first time a whole crowd of women (in their mid-20s) cheered and clapped in my movie theater. When he kissed Catwoman the women went crazy. Where did these female Pattinson fangirls come from? Because they clearly didn't watch Pattinson in Robert Eggers' magnum opus The Lighthouse, or in Safdies' independent powerhouse Good Time, let alone in Cronenberg's subversive dark comedy Cosmopolis. What else could they know him from? Seems like some people are just trying to come off as movie experts despite not knowing shit about an actor's career smh
