    “I had a good run didn’t I.”

Babylon is a wild movie. I went into this not knowing what to expect and it did not disappoint. The movie gets weird and is excess for days. That opening party let’s you know the kinda movie your in for. The movie is way too hectic in the first half but I found myself missing that in the second half. On rewatch I think I’d enjoy the first half much more…

“Nobody tried to kill you, you vainglorious bafoon.”

Glass Onion definitely lived up the hype. The hype behind this is unreal, and it’s not hard to see why after a phenomenal first film. This had some expectations to live up to and I’d say they did it. They made a fun, twisty, and engaging mystery movie. While I can’t say it’s as unpredictable as the first as I had a theory about what was going on that turned…

“Listen up, we have been boarded by four armed pirates, you know the drill.

Captain Phillips was an intense ride. I have passed by this movie countless times but never actually had the urge to put it on. I’m so glad I finally did. This movie was way more intense than I ever thought it would be. Paul Greengrass really shines in this with his tension building. Docking the boat has to me one of my favorite scenes…

“What’s a bad miracle? They got a word for that?”

Nope was awesome movie from Jordan Peele. Jordan Peele has been one of my favorite up and coming horror directors. I thought Get Out was a great introduction and Us was an awesome first watch. Unfortunately the more I think about that film the less I like it. This movie however I didn’t know what to think going in. I somehow didn’t know anything besides a monkey was…

What a way to close out the Bond franchise. The action is great, the cinematography and directing overall is some of the best in the series and the emotions are out front and center to make one of the most emotional Bond movies. As a newer fan of the Bond movies i have gotten attached to Daniel Craig’s bond as I’ve watch through his movie and I love his version of Bond and this was just such an amazing way to end things.

The Shining is a special film for me. I know that’s weird to say after only seeing it twice but it’s really what got me into movies. I always liked them but I watched this during a time when I was getting into movies and discovering a lot of my favorites and this was one of the best. It’s a movie that constantly grows on me and I love it every…
