Ryan Reynolds can make any movie at least decent, and he did his best to hold this one together but everything else just sucks.

The Return of the King perfectly caps off Peter Jackson’s amazing trilogy of movies, and is embedded in J.R.R. Tolkein’s Catholic faith and his wonderful imagination. The film itself is very high quality, with magnificent music, special effects, and cinematography, but where the real soul of this movie lies is in the beautiful characters and Christian themes.
