Does it count as watching something before, if that before was in person in the theatre?

This left me as wrung out watching it in my living room as it did sitting in the theatre. Somehow, it turned out to be an extremely 2020 play.

Plus, excellent use of the word "wanging."

The Story of Film: A New Generation

Watched the introduction beforehand where the director gave some tips on the best way to watch and be really immersed, only to be launched into the sun about half-way through the film when the narrator (...the director I think) said that Sarawak was in Taiwan.

I am entirely here for an Enola Holmes franchise, punctuated by shorts of her Mum pushing the votes for women cause along. The idea of Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes will forever be hilarious. Sure Napoleon Solo and Clark Kent are smart dudes but Cavill isn't Jeremy Brett and more than that is just lolarious.

The Vanquishing of the Witch Baba Yaga

A kind of crosshatch film of a grandmother telling a bedtime story about Baba Yaga and a meditation on life and nature in Eastern Europe.

As the dialogue is entirely in Polish and Russian, I'm curious as to how well the subtitles translate what's being said - the film is very poetic and the nature of translation means that there can be a clash between precisely translating meaning literally or giving a better feeling for the mood of what is being said.
