some say there's no such thing as perfection, but everything that bong joon-ho does in parasite successfully comes close to it. it all seems like a fascinating magic trick which we're oftenly surprised every time joon-ho takes a card off his sleeve, perfectly balancing between comedy, drama, thriller, and even crime and horror. it's a great meditation of the raw horrors of capitalism in a society divided by classes, a masterclass in filmmaking, a unique experience that keeps you on the edge of your seat, a film that doesn't shy away from today's social problems and truly cinema in its purest form. simply put, a masterpiece.
