I don’t have a lot to say about this other than I thought this was awesome. Solid performances across the board (the casting choices here are all excellent) with a story that’s both recent in memory & captivating. This doesn’t quite reach the heights of Wolf of Wall Street or The Big Short but it’s still an effective vehicle for explaining what happened with the Game Stop stock in a digestible & entertaining way that I really enjoyed watching. I was relatively skeptical when I first heard about this but the trailer won me over a little then the positive reviews started coming in.

This was such a fantastic sci-fi flick and take on AI. You can tell this is heavily inspired by some of the sci-fi movies that’ve come before it but without ever coming across as a ripoff. I don’t want to elaborate & risk spoilers but the way this is written was really effective too. And that…

Hot damn I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would.

My favorite part about this has to be the script. So brilliantly witty. I got such a big kick out of the whole “meta” self-obsessed writer thing. The scene where Fink is telling Mudnt about how most writers ignore the common people as Mudnt is desperately trying to interject with stories about the common people. I mean just gold.
And the dramatic turn this movie took seventy…
