Herrvonspeck’s review published on Letterboxd :
The most poetic aspect of Wonder Woman is the juxtaposition of the message that war was pointless and the pointlessness of the last 20 minutes of this movie. This final fighting scene is so incoherent and without any merit to the story that the action felt boring and appalling to me. I am aware this is a comic adaptation and fighting is the most common way to solve a problem in this kind of story, but still… this movie felt too long and for the most part this was due to the extensive action sequences. That said, this is the first DC adaptation I enjoyed in a long time. Wonder Woman kicks ass and that is probably important to the further development of the genre.
