    The Eyes of My Mother

I don't remember the last time a movie was so horrifying and amazing. My mouth stayed dropped for most of the film.

What I think the movie does best is depict a nightmare. To me, horror is about exploring the darker side of the human psyche. It doesn't matter if it's scary or not, but of course, spookiness is a factor too. This does both beautifully and does it to the height of any other movie I've seen.

Instantly became one of my favorites. What a poetic masterpiece.

There's so much to talk about in this movie and I'm not sure if I can fit it all in one review without coming back and editing it. Not only is it so well crafted but also because of the ambiguity of the film. Ambiguity is a core theme in the movie and there's so much to discuss just within the plot.

The film presents the facts to us as…
