I’ve seen some criticize this as being a parody of the franchise which confuses me cause I felt like 9 movies in, we were already well past that point. This movie, possibly more than the rest, knows it’s audience and it knows what we like.
We want crazy unrealistic stunts, we want cringey banter, we want Charlize Theron taunting men with Star Wars metaphors, we want Family, we want magnets…. And it provided! It provided so hard. I love this franchise so much.
Let’s grab a corona and toast to family y’all, this shit slapped!
