Higgins’s review published on Letterboxd:
Men in black International is just content to walk through the motions. That’s a shame because it completely wastes the talents of two Hollywood legends in Liam NeesonLee and Emma Thompson. It also ruins two upcoming legends in Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson who proved Beyond a reasonable doubt that they have great chemistry in Thor: Ragnarok.
Narrative wise, this film is a rehash of the previous MIB films except with far less stakes. The creature design in the new one also pales in comparison to the creature design in the older ones which is ridiculous with the technology we have now. This is not a bad movie as much as it is he extraordinarily underachieving one.
File under waste of talent cash grab.
