This is a rough movie to get through. It's poorly plotted and sidesteps too many issues it claims are of utmost importance. We probably aren't the target market, but this film is just technically flawed.
What do you get when you take a mediocre giant robots vs inter-dimensional aliens movie directed by Guillermo del Toro, add Krang, remove del Toro, and dash in the plot to Independence Day: Resurgence? You get something we don't want to watch again, but will tell you all about so you don't waste your money.
