a beautiful, quiet film about grappling with trauma and the special nature of connecting with those who really understand us. loved the nuanced performances from jennifer lawrence and brian tyree henry. also that ottessa moshfegh writing credit? would not have guessed this was penned by her but we love to see it. not sure how memorable this will be for me but i can appreciate it

i had no clue this would go in the direction it did — this was wild. rich people are nuts. satire is fun. if you get grossed out easily, proceed with caution. was really loving the vibes at the beginning, though it did lose a bit of that magic as the film went on. for a palme d'or winner it was really nothing more than a silly goofy time at the end of the day
