Just fantastic. Go see it in a cinema with a bunch of people if you can.
Found this on a list of best films of the twenty first century and so went in with pretty high expectations and came away very disappointed. It's ponderous and meandering and unstructured but it's also very concerned with the 'plight' of some well off, white middle aged people whose biggest problem is what to do with their precious antiques or valuable property. I get there's a message here about memory and sentiment and nostalgia but it shouldn't take two hours of smoking, drinking, and self obsessed convetsation to nail that message.
