Absolutely breathtaking. I mean, George Lucas produces this stunning depiction of an artist’s work as an extension of who they are and who they wish to be. His major takeaway? Fuck, I gotta birth Jar Jar Binks into the world. Maybe he didn’t watch this movie? Or even crazier, maybe Jar Jar Binks is Lucas’ truth? Just mind blowing stuff. Anyway, I loved this. Wish I had seen it sooner. I’d also be totally open to someone telling me this movie sucks, it just has a brilliant score/unparalleled production design so I mistook it for being moving & artful. More movies should be the best parts of an author’s work. I want to watch this again already.
