this film really shows the plight of perfection, and the protagonist makes his way through life, and cares about nothing but to perfect his art, leaving the people around him stranded, and chazelle shows this spectacularly, the acting is spectacular by both j.k. simmons and miles teller, it really helps the film work as well as it does

this film was nowhere near as good as the ladt two, the sorry was pretty weak and the dialogue was pretty bad, but i did like the cinematography most of the time, and i did like the fact that it didn't take itself too seriously
